Challenge:
How to reduce the cost of health care and to provide a better level of care and associated quality of life to patients? How can technology assist preventive health care and the community?
Solution:
A combination of online videos, voice over IP, patient alert buzzers, telemonitoring systems and a medical expert database library can reduce the cost associated with health care labor, the lag of sufficient facilities and the shortage of qualified personnel.
We are currently working on making affordable a first level health care apparatus, where the patient using the web or the mobile phone can login and get an initial assessment, speaking live with a professional and searching in a medical database for symptoms similarities. The patient information system also includes a control module adapted to send, receive and process patient information and to display the patient information on the video display.
A patient could also contact his or hers physician’s office directly and send medical examination results, leave a video message so that the doctor can have his or hers medical record always updated.
The system is perfect for supporting teleconference and teleconsulting to patients living in areas where access to medical professionals is difficult.
