Using advanced sensors technology, each parking space is identified and mapped on a GIS system providing availability information to drivers and parking operators. The customer can use standard mobile parking services by paying by phone or SMS and receive a parking permission electronic ID over his phone according to the estimated parking time.
Information is send to a central GIS database so that each customer can receive an early warning for the elapsed parking time. Enforcement officials can get warnings regarding violators and issue parking tickets.
